This was made in serato studio, (although out of my usual comfort zone) it is edm, (i usually do house (or try to), dubstep, and dnb) and was made with nothing but drum kits, no automation, just drum kits. Bell and howell model 253 rv recorded with a cad gxl2200 microphone. The sounds are the projector being turned on, the bulb being switched on and the film reel started. The process is reversed at the end.

I created a basic saw tooth bass pluck using sylenth1, and used image line edison to time stretch, equalize, add reverb, and smooth out the beginning and end of the sound to give it a swelling effect. The sound is tuned to c for easy re pitching to suit different projects.
